Terms and Conditions of Sale for the Digital Business Policy Suite & Handbooks

1. Initial Purchase

1.1. By purchasing the Digital Business Policy Suite or Employee Handbooks (“the Product”), you agree to pay the initial purchase price in full at the time of checkout.
1.2. The initial purchase includes:

  • Access to the Product.

  • Free hosting and automatic updates for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase.

2. Hosting and Updates Package

2.1. After the first year, continued access to the Product requires the Hosting and Updates Package, which is billed annually in advance at a cost of £240 (exclusive of VAT).
2.2. The Hosting and Updates Package includes:

  • Continued hosting of your Digital Business Policy Suite by The HR Guru.

  • Ongoing automatic updates to ensure compliance with the latest legislation.

3. Direct Debit Requirement

3.1. At the time of purchase, you must set up a Direct Debit (DD) mandate to facilitate future payments for the Hosting and Updates Package.
3.2. Payments for the Hosting and Updates Package will be automatically deducted on the renewal date each year.

4. Failure to Pay

4.1. Failure to make the required payment for the Hosting and Updates Package by the renewal date will result in the suspension of access to the Digital Business Policy Suite.
4.2. Access will be reinstated upon receipt of the outstanding payment in full.

5. Hosting Services

5.1. All hosting for the Digital Business Policy Suite is provided exclusively by The HR Guru.
5.2. The HR Guru reserves the right to make changes to hosting services, provided these changes do not materially impact the functionality of the Product.

6. Cancellation and Termination

6.1. If you choose not to renew the Hosting and Updates Package, access to the Product will cease at the end of the one-year hosting term or any subsequent renewal period for which payment has been made.
6.2. To cancel the Hosting and Updates Package, you must provide notice at least 30 days prior to the renewal date.

7. Limitation of Liability

7.1. The HR Guru will not be liable for any loss of data, business interruption, or other damages arising from the suspension or termination of access due to non-payment.
7.2. It is your responsibility to ensure the timely payment of hosting fees to maintain uninterrupted access to the Product.

8. Amendments

8.1. The HR Guru reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions. Customers will be notified of any significant changes prior to their renewal date.
